Overview
KLOW is a lyophilised blend of four research peptides in one 80 mg vial: GHK-Cu 50 mg, BPC-157 10 mg, TB-500 10 mg and KPV 10 mg. Each is studied on its own in tissue-repair and inflammation research: GHK-Cu in collagen synthesis and extracellular-matrix remodelling, BPC-157 and TB-500 in models of tissue repair and cell migration, KPV in inflammatory signalling. In one vial a laboratory has all four in fixed proportions instead of four separate vials. The blend itself has not been studied as a combination: the published data concern each peptide separately, mostly in cell and animal models.
Mechanism
Four mechanisms in one vial, each known from research on that peptide alone. GHK-Cu binds and carries copper, a cofactor of matrix synthesis, and in cell studies raised collagen and elastin expression. BPC-157, a 15-amino-acid fragment of a gastric protein, is studied for angiogenesis and tissue repair in animal models. TB-500, a synthetic form of thymosin beta-4, acts on actin and cell migration. KPV, the C-terminal tripeptide of α-MSH, is studied for its effect on inflammatory signalling (NF-κB) in cell and animal models. No study has tested the four together.
