About peptides
Peptides are short chains of amino acids, the same building blocks that make up proteins.
A peptide is simply a shorter sequence, from a few amino acids to a few dozen.
In research, peptides are used as reagents. They are supplied dry and freeze-dried, reconstituted with bacteriostatic water, and worked with in vitro, on cells and tissue, not on people or animals.
Different peptides are studied in different areas: tissue repair, metabolism, the nervous system, cellular ageing, immunity, skin. Each is a subject of research, not a treatment.
Purity and identity matter. A result only means something when you know what was in the vial, so reagents are tested before use.
Peptiko supplies these reagents to researchers and laboratories in Moldova, the EU and CIS. For in-vitro research only.
